The first season of The Flavor of Love ended with our favorite clock wearing rapper Flav choosing down to earth girl Hoopz to be his lady, over drama queen New York.
After the show, however, Hoopz lost interest, and Flav found himself alone again.
VH1 and Flavor Flav decided to team up for a second season of The Flavor of Love, and Flav picked 20 new ladies to come and live with him, including Like Dat, in hopes of finding his true love.
Like Dat has now left the Flav mansion and recently sat down to answer a few questions for LTK Celebrity.
She dishes on what it was like to get to know Flav, what she thinks about first season reject New York re-entering the competition, and what it was really like when Somethin´ failed to make it to the bathroom in time.
One year, when I was in college at Syracuse, I went as Flav to a Halloween party.
LTK: Did the first series influence your impression of Flav?
LD: I always had a feeling that Flav was a funny brutha, but I didn't realize that he was as nice and kind as he was.
LTK: Was it difficult for everyone to have to "share" Flav?
I was just happy to be chosen to get a chance to know Flav.
LTK: If you had to pick one of the other girls for Flav, who would you pick?
LTK: What was your favorite time with Flav?
Everyone always talks about -- if you are right for Flav -- but what about him for me.

From Flava Flav, Brigitte Nielsen, Adrianne Curry, and Christopher Knight (all of whom got their own VH1 series), to Charo and Vanilla Ice, there has been no shortage of personality.
The first installment of Celebrity Fit Club also got its start in 2005, as well as The Surreal Life spin-off, Strange Love, which followed Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen's relationship.
Flavor of Love, Flavor Flav's dating competition, made its debut as well.
Brigitte Nielsen - Also a Surreal Life alum, Nielsen "co-starred" with her love interest at the time, Flavor Flav in VH1's Strange Love.
Tiffany Pollard, a cast-off from two seasons of the VH1 reality series Flavor of Love, starring rap star Flavor Flav, was given her own chance at finding love in the reality show I Love New York.
"New York" was the nickname that Flavor Flav gave Pollard during her first season run on Flavor of Love.
It would be difficult, for example, to imagine a rap superstar named William Jonathan Drayton Jr., the birth name of rapper Flavor Flav.
Badd by the Ying Yang Twins - Crunk masters The Ying Yang Twins shot to fame with The Whisper Song, and anyone who has been watching VH1 lately knows they just did a turn helping Flavor Flav find love.
New York - Tiffany "New York" Pollard was spit on and then rejected by Flavor Flav on season one of VH1's mega hit Flavor of Love.
That was enough to earn her another (failed) attempt at winning Flav's heart, plus three reality shows of her own - and counting!
Flavor of Love - Flavor Flav's show about find love for himself.
Tiffany is referred to as New York, which is a nickname she earned during her stint on Flavor Flav's dating show.
Although she appeared on Flavor of Love for two seasons, she was turned down by Flavor Flav both times.
In one of the seasons of The Surreal Life, which put a group of C-list celebrities in a house together Big Brother style, the odd romantic couple of a lifetime was born: Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielson.
Would Flav and Brigitte live happily ever after?
They gave us the aptly titled Strange Love, which followed Flav to Italy where he tried to win Brigette's love and then followed the pseudo couple around as they tried to fit into each other's worlds.
At the end of Strange Love, Brigitte left Flav to return to her fiancé and her life in Europe.
Enter the idea for what would become one of the most popular reality shows of all time: create a dating show, based loosely on The Bachelor, to help Flavor Flav find true love.
The idea behind Flavor of Love was simple: put a host of girls in a house to live together and vie for the attention of Flav.
Each week, the girls would compete in some sort of challenge to win alone time with Flav.
Music fans had long been familiar with Flav's antics, and VH1 fans had come to know how him through his other series.
The first season of Flavor was a winner with the fans, but it didn't work out so well for Flav.
Flav came back for a second season, and in mid-season invited New York back into the house.
Deelishis and Flav made it to the reunion but split soon after.
Taking on Flav's role this time is Bret Michaels, who hosts a bevy of girls in a mansion who all then compete for a chance of being the lady to walk out on his arm.
At the end of each episode, there is an elimination ceremony where the girls Michaels wants to keep around are awarded a "backstage pass" (his version of Flav's clock).
Her brash attitude made her a fan favorite (or at least, the girl everyone loved to hate) on the first season of Flavor of Love, and when Flav rejected her for Hoopz in the season finale many people were shocked.
Viewers' heads spun again when a guest appearance on Flavor of Love 2 turned into New York coming back into the house as a competitor for Flav's affections.
She again made it to the final two and again was rejected by Flav (this time in favor of Deelishis).
Flavor Flav Hooks Up - Season three saw the first real Surreal Life romance, consisting of Flavor Flav and Brigitte Neilsen.
It was hosted by comedian Mo'Nique and featured 13 female cast-offs from the first two seasons of Flavor of Love, another VH-1 reality series starring rap sensation Flavor Flav.
Pollard was one of Flavor Flav's original suitors, and was so outrageous and memorable to viewers that she earned her own reality shows on VH1.
The show is also responsible for her nickname, "New York," which Flav assigned her during the show's premiere episode.
In the end, Flav chose Nicole "Hoopz" Alexander.
In season two, viewers were led to believe that Flav regretted cutting New York loose.
She made it to the end this time as well, but was ultimately heartbroken for a second time when Flav chose Chandra "Deelishis" Davis over her.
New York, former Flavor Flav suitor, has parlayed her appearance on the first installment of Flavor of Love into four VH1 reality shows and counting.
In that series the buxom charmer made it to the finals in two consecutive seasons but failed to secure Flavor Flav's heart.
Her domineering personality was on full display during Pollard's stints on Flavor of Love, where she faked a terminal illness to keep her daughter away from Flav.
Sure, Flav had a leg up on the competition in the stardom category, but he might just be the king of VH1 for being part of the launch of a very winning formula: fading celeb looks for love.
Thank Flav if you like Rock of Love, Charm School, I Love Money, My Antonio, For the Love of Ray J - indeed most shows on VH1 can be linked to Flav either by cast or by theme.
"New York" is a franchise unto herself on the network and has been since she tried to win the love of Flav.
